Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

We believe that diversity must be reflected in our team, our research questions, and our processes. We strive to develop a climate where diverse beliefs, backgrounds, values, cultures, and viewpoints are respected and included in all that we do. We are dedicated as a group to an anti-racist and culturally inclusive environment.

We conduct research projects are founded in the notion that equity in healthcare is a primary goal for both institutions and providers. This means that we are interested in studying factors that serve as barriers to equitable care or that can enhance equity across a healthcare system.

We have an ongoing mission to be inclusive in our research questions and processes. We are dedicated to an inclusive model of research which incorporates families, multiple disciplines, and culturally diverse viewpoints.
